Yes, most of our slipcovers are machine washable on a gentle cycle at around 30 °C. We recommend using mild detergent, washing separately from rough items and allowing the cover to air dry. Always check the care label on the individual product page for exact instructions.

The slipcovers include elasticated hems and are designed to tuck firmly into the seat and back creases. Many styles also come with foam tucking rods to help keep the fabric in place. For very smooth leather or high-use seating, adding the foam rods and tucking securely around the arms and base gives the best result.

Yes, the fabrics are chosen to be soft and comfortable but also practical for everyday family use. They help protect your sofa from fur, light claw marks, everyday spills and general wear. For heavy scratching or chewing, no cover is completely damage-proof, but slipcovers are a much cheaper layer to replace than a whole sofa.

For recliner and sofa-bed designs, the slipcovers are made to work with the movement of the furniture as much as possible. Open the recliner or sofa-bed slowly the first time you use it with the cover on and adjust the fabric where needed.
